The “Worst Buy” Instagram page is a parody account that aims to make light of consumerism with a touch of dark humour and a sprinkle of absurdity thrown in on top of a whole lot of Photoshop.

In fact, the moderators use ordinary pictures of products and use their image editing skills to transform the otherwise normal picture into a fun and bizarre creation instead. The curator of the page admits that they just want to make viewers laugh at their posts and indeed, people can’t seem to get enough of them.
