That's why some people go out of their way to hide the ring. Not Edi Okoro though. The man was planning to propose to his girlfriend Cally Read and instead of tucking the ring away where she would never find it, he decided to hide it in plain sight.

In an interview with Bored Panda, the man said he met Cally at athletics. Both of them competed at a high level and traveled to competitions together. "I knew she was the one after I realized our conversations didn’t dry up and we bounced off each other," said Edi.
"This engagement turned out more than what I originally intended it to be. I'm just happy that I don’t have to walk around with [the ring] anymore and keep it a secret!" said Edi.

There were a few instances where Edi could have easily been caught but lucky for him, Cally didn't notice. One of those times was when he took the binocular photo. "Only because she could have just looked up!" said the man. "Also, walking around with it in my pocket I knocked into her a few times [but] she didn’t notice it was a box." Lucky guy!Of course, eventually, Edi revealed the ring and proposed
And, of course, Cally said yes!
