10 Famous Paintings Improved By Adding A Fat Ginger Cat (New Pics)

Published 3 years ago

There’s hardly anything out there that couldn’t be made better by adding cats. And if you don’t believe me, just ask Svetlana Petrova. For over 10 years the woman has been inserting her adorable chunky ginger cat named Zarathustra into famous paintings, making them infinitely better than the originals.

Throughout the years, Svetlana has inserted Zarathustra into numerous works of famous artists, like Leonardo da Vinci, Vincent van Gogh, and Johannes Vermeer, and it doesn’t look like she’s  planning to stop anytime soon. The artist has even published a book featuring some of her works, titled FAT CAT ART: Famous Masterpieces Improved by a Ginger Cat with Attitude – make sure to check it out here!

We’ve already featured some of Svetlana’s works before, and now she’s back with even more – check them out in the gallery below!

Aušrys Uptas

One day, this guy just kind of figured - "I spend most of my time on the internet anyway, why not turn it into a profession?" - and he did! Now he not only gets to browse the latest cat videos and fresh memes every day but also shares them with people all over the world, making sure they stay up to date with everything that's trending on the web. Some things that always pique his interest are old technologies, literature and all sorts of odd vintage goodness. So if you find something that's too bizarre not to share, make sure to hit him up!

Got wisdom to pour?
