Photographer Derry Moroney Captures 8 Breathtaking “Tree Of Life” Photos Of A Receding Lake

Published 6 months ago

Derry Moroney is an Australian photographer who recently captured photos of a unique “Tree of Life” phenomenon that appeared on the receding Lake Cakora in Brooms Head, New South Wales, and the photos will take your breath away. The photographer explained that the phenomenon appeared after a big amount of rain and stormy weather broke the lake out and drained most of its water. At the same time, a nearby lake rich in tea tree oil and coffee rock ran off into Lake Cakora, creating this beautiful image of a tree.

In an interview with DeMilked, Derry said he got into photography three years ago, and has been very passionate ever since. The photographer says he gets inspiration from nature and the way it can create amazing masterpieces from from the elements. “I love being able to find the spots from above where most people don’t get to see and I also love being able to share my way of seeing the world with the world,” explained Derry.

Now he not only gets to browse the latest cat videos and fresh memes every day but also shares them with people all over the world, making sure they stay up to date with everything that's trending on the web. Some things that always pique his interest are old technologies, literature and all sorts of odd vintage goodness. So if you find something that's too bizarre not to share, make sure to hit him up!
