Guy Shows How Easily He Can Change His Body For Instagram Pics In Just A Few Minutes

Published 5 years ago

By now you probably know that you should take everything you see on Instagram with a grain of salt. We already showed how fake some of the photos on the platform can be but YouTuber and bodybuilder Connor Murphy took it one step further by showing just how easily they are faked.

Most of us have seen ads for diet pills, teas or personal trainers that have incredible “before and after” photos of people. Turns out they’re easier to fake than you can imagine and in most cases there isn’t even any Photoshop involved, just some creative angles and lighting. And Murphy even gave step-by-step instructions on how to shoot your own “progress” pics.

In many cases, professional bodybuilders take it to the extreme when preparing for competitions, even going as far as dehydrating themselves to achieve maximum aesthetics. Needless to say, we certainly don’t recommend you do that.

People had a lot to say about the fake progress pics

One day, this guy just kind of figured - "I spend most of my time on the internet anyway, why not turn it into a profession?" - and he did! Now he not only gets to browse the latest cat videos and fresh memes every day but also shares them with people all over the world, making sure they stay up to date with everything that's trending on the web. Some things that always pique his interest are old technologies, literature and all sorts of odd vintage goodness. So if you find something that's too bizarre not to share, make sure to hit him up!

Got wisdom to pour?
