Cards Against Humanity Just Bought Land On The US-Mexico Border In Order To Prevent Trump From Building His Wall, And This Is Their Plan

Published 6 years ago

Some holiday promotions promise to save you money, and some promise to save The United States of America. Cards Against Humanity wouldn’t be the bold rebellious self if they wouldn’t go for the latter. This year they are inviting people to join in on buying land on the US-Mexico border and that way making the construction of the infamous Donald Trump’s wall way more complicated.

“It’s 2017, and the government is being run by a toilet,” – a sentence that introduces this campaign and perfectly sums up the company’s stance on the current political situation. That is why they decided to take action.

“We’ve purchased a plot of vacant land on the border and retained a law firm specializing in eminent domain to make it as time-consuming and expensive as possible for the wall to get built,” states the company. The promotional video for the campaign explains how it’s all gonna work: the people that signed up to be a part of the promotion will own the land together, forcing the government to sue them if they wanted the wall to be built. Cards Against Humanity is inviting people to spend $15 in order to get “America-saving surprises” delivered to your doorstep throughout December, the first one being an illustrated map of the land, a certificate of their promise to fight the wall, some new cards, and a few other goodies.

The promotion sold out instantly, running out of participant slots on the first day.
